Mr. Farrell's 5th Grade Class

All About Me

Hello everyone!  I am so excited to be back at Bethke Elementary!  As many of you know I was a long term substitute teacher last year in the 3rd grade.  I had the time of my life and am so grateful to be back in this amazing district, school, and community!  I am from New York State and received my education from Buffalo State College, previously known as the Teacher's College of Western New York.  After graduating, I began my career as a 3rd grade teacher in North Carolina where I taught for 3 years.  My love for the mountains and snowboarding brought me out to Colorado every year for many years.  As long as I can remember I have said, "I am going to live there one day."  It is an awesome accomplishment to have reached my dream, and a wonderful lesson to instill in my students.  With hard work and dedication, you can do anything you want!  I believe in teaching to all of my students in a personal fashion.  There are so many different roads that lead to the same destination and my students will be given that right in my classroom.  I am looking foward to an exciting year in 5th grade!

Here are some things that help show you a little more about me!
